Each and every day we must strive on becoming better and better, as we grow, we must evolve by setting big goals that stretches us, gives hope that our tomorrow will be better than today no matter how badly we are doing right now. Don’t focus on where you are coming from but where you exactly want to go. Life is lived forward not backwards. Forget your good old days and focus on good new days with the kind of success you have always dreamt about. We must set goals for our ideal successful and rich life, we must design the kind of life that we want. A life where we shall one day have amazing health, money and time to enjoy that money. Time and money freedom is what my ideal rich life looks like. Upon setting those goals they also stretches you to step out of your comfort zone and go back to acquire knowledge, go back to school, become a daily continuous learning student, buy books, read them, watch movies, series, listen to songs that builds your capacity, inspires your hopes an...

If you don’t take risk then you will keep working for the man or woman who take risks. Success is built on so many qualities but the greatest of all is faith, wisdom, courage and risk taking. You can’t go to the next level without risk taking and surrounding yourself with risk takers. You have to be radical in your plans and goal setting. I wrote the day I wanted to resign from my job at Nakumatt Holdings Limited, at that time the biggest supermarket in East and Central Africa operating in 4 countries Kenya where it’s headquarters were, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda where I was Head of Training. When the day arrived to resign I kept changing the dates because of the biggest fear of unknown. It’s easier to resign your job when you have another offer to go get a good paying job than quitting your job when you have a young new family, huge loans and going to to pursue your dreams full time. Every time the day got nearer to resign, I gave up to fear and kept changing the dates until on...

Be extremely cautious and careful of how you see yourself, how you carry yourself, what you say it's possible and what you say it's impossible because all is a seed you are planting, the more you allow it to dominate in your thoughts, in your mind, always know you are in investing both time, thoughts and either blocking yourself or tapping into resources exceedingly, abundantly and above what you are asking. So slowly our self image is formed either consciously or unconsciously (subconsciously) but whichever moment it's being formed either to work for you or to work against you. You are either waking up to see a better picture of yourself or a lacking image of yourself but whichever way, it's either always negative self image or positive self image and which upon maturity it will easily attract to itself equivalent or greater than what you have planted. Rule Number one try be intentional in your planting season, find the things you like even in your worst. Don't g...
“Bad times have a scientific value. These are occasions a good learner would not miss” Ralph Waldo Emerson. Most would not know who Ralph Waldo Emerson is but he is one of my greatest Legends. He wrote several essays and my best is self reliance. History would not be History of the world without this man. HOW? His essays inspired Ralph Waldo Trine who wrote a wonder book which is among one of my Bibles too called, “In Tune with the Infinite” “Character Thought Building Power” Ralph Waldo Trine book inspired a young man studying in South Africa called Mahatma Gandhi who later went on to bring transformation in his country India without violence as taught by his role model. Mahatma Gandhi inspired a young ambitious black man who later went to become an icon in both public speaking and game changer in fighting for civil rights from Georgia, before later going to pursue his life purpose in Birmingham, Alabama who we all know “Martin Luther King Junior” who gave one of the world’s gre...

Do I have a friend who can ask the final decision makers for those concerned with servicing our Hills and Mountains to take this advice seriously, Mt. Kenya Peak, that placard is a Total Joke considering the money you spend to Summit, I like the one at Mt Longonot, the new one at MT Oldonyo Least ima at Mweiga, Table Mountain in Kinangop, Mt Kilimambogo in Thika. How much can it cost to label all Hills, Mountains, Lakes, Dams, Tourist, Equator lines and all our tourist destinations across the whole country considering the money they help generate directly or indirectly? Do we have serious policy makers who are thinking outside the box when it comes to generating revenue? We need to start taking tourism very seriously and am here talking out of passion for Hiking and Mountain Climbing. If they cannot do it then Corporate Companies filling our Billboards I won’t mention names can come up with proposal to the government of the same. Imagine being guided in Mount Kenya, creating nic...
