Whoever looks for happiness alone will never find it but whoever looks for work he can become fully devoted to that makes others happy will always have happiness in abundance as their permanent portion. Happiness and productivity goes hand in hand.
Remember the Turks saying, "The devil tempts all men but idle men tempts the devil".
Happiness is more in the process so stop looking for it and find that one thing you can do to add value to humanity. Don't wait to get something to get happy for once you get it, the happiness is going to be for a very short period of time. It's in the process that you should always be happy and excited from setting that goal, taking that first step until you achieve it. Don't be like those people who say once I get married I will be happy. Once I buy a car I will be happy. Once I get that job or that promotion or start my own business I will be very happy only to find after getting all this you get more challenges that steals your happiness than you never thought before.
President Abraham Lincoln of United States the man who failed so many times before he ever became a President and one of the best characters I love reading more about their failures than success once said that, "A Man is as happy as he makes up his mind." Underline the word make up his mind. If you also don't make up your mind you will never be happy for As within so without.
Another inspiring story about creating happiness out of nothing is about a story I once read. Two prisoners were in a solitary prison, one prisoner who was positive always used to share stories to his fellow inmate about the bright sun, a very beautiful girl walking outside, how bright the day was, people walking in and out, people who has been released, sunset until the other inmate became so jealous why do you have a window 
. Since both of them separated by a wall but you could hear each other. The other inmate the more he was told about the outside the more angrier and jealous he became. Instead of appreciation of the reason to make him happy he became more jealous. In fact he couldn't take anymore because of jealousy and anger on why was he taken to solitary with a window.

The man finally stopped sharing and kept his own brightness and happiness. Finally the happy man died and it was known so he really pleaded to be given that room for months and months only to find it was ten times worst than he had and everything had been approved and it couldn't be changed. When you see people smiling and always happy majority is just they have chosen to be happy, if they share with you only a quarter or a tenth of what they are going through you can't even handle. My friend happiness is a choice and choose to be happy. Stop tempting the devil by being idle. The idle mind always tempts the devil and still blames the devil for it. Look for work that you can do to add value to humanity and bring happiness in other people's lives. Nothing gives me more happiness than helping people solve their problems and serving humanity plus I also choose happiness to be my permanent portion.
